  THE 2 nd  IDS ACTIVITY: “Mathematics and Global Survival” Teaching global issues through Mathematics (In-House Activity) [July 2021] Activity was conducted with the aims to provide understanding of the critical problems, like drug addiction, poverty and illiteracy that the world is facing today with the help of Mathematics. During the activity students did comparative study with collected data, on the mentioned problems in India, Brazil and Zimbabwe. Students of class VII to VIII and IX were involved. They worked in three different groups, and collected data on poverty, illiteracy and drug addiction in India, Brazil and Zimbabwe.
